Relaxing in the camp

Ready to eat

Still cooking

We had a fun, relaxing day yesterday. We made a trip to the store & also filled the truck with fuel. Diesel for $2.34 per gallon at the HEB store. I grilled shrimp and portobella mushrooms in the afternoon. They were marinated in a tequila lime marinade with garlic, chili-lime seasoning, a little grill seasoning, and olive oil. They tasted great! :)

We mainly read our books, watched a little TV and went to bed around 11:00 PM.

This morning we are up early, having coffee and getting ready to leave on a road trip. It is about a 2 hour drive to Bracketville, TX, where we want to visit the Alamo Village.

Tomorrow, I promise to post some pictures of the place. I also need to get some e-mail answered, call my cousins, Bill & Sharon, and get the RV ready to roll. Tomorrow evening we are joining our long time friends for dinner at their favorite Mexican restaraunt.

The plan is for us to leave San Antonio early Sunday morning and be parked at Llano Grande Lake RV Resort by 2:30 PM.

Time to get going here. Sorry for such a short entry this morning.

Got to see what's down the road....
