Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

Yesterday we finally got our hair cuts. We can get rid of our temporary dog license now. :) We did a little grocery shopping, then returned to the RV. Marilyn did laundry while I straightened things up, showered, and settled in for a relaxing day. We both read books, watched a little TV, ate junk food, and had a wonderful day.

This morning we were up early, drinking coffee with the windows open, enjoying a warm, gentle breeze, with good music on the stereo. We began talking over our plans for the future. We have decided to return to San Antonio in April, for Fiesta. We will then meander toward Wichita to visit friends, before returning to Hannibal, MO for the summer.

We are thinking we would like to be in Albuquerque for the balloon festival in October, and then go on to Arizona for the winter. These are all tentative plans. Nothing definite yet. We do want to drive back home to spend Christmas with the kids next year.

Today, I am taking Marilyn shopping. Marilyn needs some new sneakers and wants to visit her favorite store, Bed, Bath & Beyond. Being the good husband I am, and wishing to maintain harmony, I am happily going along with these plans. :)

More tomorrow on how this all worked out. We are going to the home of our good friends tonight, for dinner and to visit with other friends who will be joining us. We are really looking forward to that. Let's see what the day brings....
