We arrived here yesterday and I have had a very good first impression of the City. Immediately things were made easier because Marco's cousins, Rosa and Ica came to pick us up from the airport. They helped bypass some of the red tape after immigration. We are staying at Tia Linda's house in the centre of Luanda. The house is lovely and in this blistering heat, the air con is a saviour! It is fairly safe to walk around on our own, just as long as we do not carry any valuables with us. This means that photo's of Angola may take a while to come. Maybe I can sneaky some when I'm in a car or something... we shall see.
