Bolivar Plaza

Bolivar Plaza

Take a step back from all your expectations of Latin America here. This is a little piece of Europe, transplanted into the mountains at nearly 2900m, so just as cold. The city is up on hte hill and quite pretty in the old colonial style. It has big plazas( still called Bolivar) and quaint buildings all around. They havn`t quite caught up on the big cities, but that makes the place all the nicer.

I just couldn`t be on the bus to Bogota nay longer- I will head there tomorrow and meet Trudy I hope.
