Still on a high after our skydive, we set off on the road to Queenstown. En route, we stopped in Arrowtown, a quaint old gold mining village. It has retained many of its original buildings since the town evolved as a base for mining during the gold rush in the 1860's. One house in particular "Dudley's Cottage" which was up for sale looked like it could have been plucked from the west of Ireland. After a stroll down by the river, we had lunch and continued on the road to Queenstown.
