Well, I absolutely loved ROME and Italy for that matter! Everyone seriously needs to travel to Italy. There is SO much to see and do there! You could easily spend a few weeks just traveling around Italy and not see everything you wanted to see. I was in Rome for basically four days and didn't come close to seeing everything I wanted.

It was so great because when I left Prague it was 30 deg. and when I got to Rome it was 65-70deg. It was bright and sunny the whole time. I thought I walked a lot in Berlin but Berlin doesn't hold a candle to how much you walk when seeing Rome. There are a ton of churches, basilicas, fountains, and monuments just scattered everywhere throughout the city. I would definitely say that Rome is probably my favorite place I have been so far. The first place I went was to the Ancient Rome Ruins. Everything was SO HUGE! My pictures just don't do it justice how massive everything was. I ended at the Colosseum which was so awesome. It's too bad so much of it was taken away or torn down because it must of looked so amazing right after it was built. On the third day I went to Vatican city and went through the Vatican museums which leads you to the sistine chapel. The museums were pretty cool because they had so many famous paintings. Of course the Sistine Chapel was amazing, it's one of those places you really just have to see it in person to understand how great it really is. I could only sneak a few pictures because they had people walking around yelling at anyone who talked above a whisper or who had there camera out.

I was very lucky because they were holding the MTV European Music awards in Rome while I was there. They were building a really big stage right in front of the Colosseum. The night before they were doing the show I went to see the Colosseum at night and found Hoobastank warming up and testing the stage. There were maybe 10 or 15 other people there so I just walked right up to the front while they sang 3 or 4 songs. I couldn't believe it, no one was there! The next day is when they had the EMA's so I made it to the concert just in time for Anastacia to perform live during the show. It was really weird too, because a lot of people had thought it was over before she came on so they were walking away from the stage. So it made it easy to get right up next to the stage, and then Sarah Michelle Gellar came out and announced Anastacia and that's when everyone came flooding back into the street. I just couldn't believe I happend to just walk up and get that close to the stage! It was a really good concert and with the Colosseum in the background it made it even more amazing.

I saw so much in those 4 days in Rome and was pretty tired from walking every day into the night. So then on Friday I headed to Florence.
