| Nov.7/06 Today the weather got up to 20 C and we traveled through Annapolis to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. The information centre at Rehoboth Beach gave us some great things to see. The oceanfront Boardwalk is 1 mile long but most shops are closed for the season. You could tell that it must be a very busy place in the summer. The city is a very clean and friendly place. On Jan.27, 1873 the Camp Meeting Association of Methodist Episcopal Church was incorporated by Delaware legislature for the purpose to establish a permanent camp meeting ground and Christian seaside resort, this was the beginning of Rehoboth Beach. |
