Part of planning the wedding for Jennifer is getting her house ready for a move. Even more fun! :) Jennifer was using much of our furniture and household items in her home here. We have moved plastic tubs of pictures, photo albums, scrapbooks, keepsakes, etc, to the storage shed on the farm. We have been sorting things into 3 categories, store, keep to use, or sell.
Marilyn is packing up dishes from the hutch, while I do the more enjoyable things like writing in the journal. :) We are moving several large pieces of furniture tomorrow. A dining room set stored in Jen's basement, a mattress, outdoor furniture, and a garden tractor, will all be moved to the farm. Once Jen moves out, only taking her personal things, we will have the auctioneer come to take everything else, and have a sale. Then, that will be over!
Jen plans to have the bridal suite rented for the night before the wedding as well as the wedding night, so that she can use it instead of her house, to get ready for the wedding.
After the wedding there will be a few chores to do, but mostly we will wait until the kids come back from Hawaii to celebrate an early Christmas, and then we will head for Texas. Our scheduled date for departure from Hannibal is now set for Dec 19th.
I am sorry that I haven't posted any pictures lately. Not very interesting just writing about the daily grind. Soon, we will be back on track, posting pictures and writing about the places we visit. Can't wait for the day when we begin with: "Let's see what is around the bend"........
