At the Border between Chile and Argentina
| A 7 hour bus trip in a luxury coach costing just 5 pounds each was our last major journey in South America. The trip over the Andes involved going up to and then down from 4000 metres which hasnt helped Lornas health much she cannot shake the cough left over from the flu. Joe is gradually getting better and is in need of some big meals, we have seen a KFC which he is desparate for and he can have a big bucket to himself if he can eat it. Arrived at 8 here in Santiago and it is a huge city which looks very interesting. We had an early night after a Chinese meal. Will post photos of the Andes later |
