| After our two marathon walks, we decided to stay home today and I did a spring clean of our room and catch up on the washing and upload some photos. I was able to upload the first 10 photos in 2 hours and after 5 and a half hour, the next 10 were not loaded and I gave up in disgust and frustration. I had thought I would go for my firs swim down on the beach but we went to visit Desankas mum who had had heart surgery and had come home last week. She is really good and as they are in preparation for Ante,s wedding (Dragos son) we stayed for a while and Drago invited us to come for lunch the days after the wedding as is the custom here. They invite those the next day who did not go to the wedding. They were only having the couples friends and imediate family to the wedding. I tried to upload photos again when I came home, but every time the phone rang or someone picked it up, it cut my connection so I gave up. I finally went for a walk and found Damir trying to work his mums sewing machine to mend the tent as he and his mates were going up on the mountain Saturday and staying the night. It was nice to help him out with the threadiing of the machine and we were able to mend the tent. It had been a nice quiet day although frustrating trying to upload photos. |
