Spent the afternoon checking out Mt Rushmore national memorial. The iconic sculptured mountain features the four most prominent presidents in American history - George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt. The sculptor Gutzon Borglum completed the busts in 1941. The bodies were never completed as funds were diverted to WWII. A park ranger took us on a tour around the base of the mountain although when he asked for questions at the end, Leo said I wasn't allowed to ask when they were adding George Dubya as the 5th head.
Stayed in the small valley town of Keystone not far from the memorial.
