| Wow - the first week sure went by fast! We are loving this life. We had a really difficult drive today LOL up Hwy 101 about 83 miles and stopped in Newport, OR at the Outdoor Resorts, Pacific Shores resort. What a NICE place, pricy tho, but afterall it is our anniversary! The plan is to go to the aquarium tomorrow - will probably go to another, less expensive, park first. The drive was beautiful, I drove most of it. Similar but not quit as scary as going up Hwy 1 from San Simeon to Monterey. As with Hwy 1, pull offs were nonexistant on the north bound side so never got to stop and take any pics. Someday will have to drive it in the other direction! |
