Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

Marilyn worked really hard yesterday but she got a lot accomplished. Most of what remains to be done is for me to do. One big item is to get the garage cleaned out.

I have a small "to-do" list today with 15 items on it. We sure would like to get things done before the weekend so that we could have 2 days to relax before moving to Kansas City for some minor repairs to the 5er, and then on to Hannibal, MO until after the wedding.

Last night I finished up my work with clients at Flight Safety. I will go in to complete some paperwork on Thursday. Marilyn is already calling the 5er "Home" and it is. That is the place we can relax. The house is such a mess as we try to get things ready to move out. We are now living full time in the RV. It is a joy. Last night the temps were in the upper 40's. I had turned on the heat pump when we went to bed, and we awoke at 2:30 AM and discovered that we had the covers off of us. It was toasty in the RV. That heat pump does a great job. We turned the heat off entirely, which was a bit premature. It was cool when we got up at 6:30 to answer the phone. Jen calls us each morning before she leaves for work. Being a nurse, she works 12 hour days so we get an early call.

Marilyn and I enjoyed our coffee with the fireplace putting out some warmth and nice music from the sound system, as we planned the day. Only a few more days to go. I wanted to get some pictures posted so you can go back a bit to see what they are. Just look for the little camera symbol next to the journal entry.

More later......
