The Bouchers at Home on the Road travel blog

We arrived at the KOA here in Missoula, MT on the evening of the 6th. There's a big Caterpillar repair facility here, we're having some needed maintenance done on the coach engine and chassis (oil change, etc.). We still need a new muffler for the coach (because of the big flame-out), but they can't get one here soon enough, so we'll leave that for Pennsylvania (where there's another CAT place). We also put 4 new tires on the car, since they were in pretty bad shape. We had to have the coach at the CAT place by 8AM, so we were up at 5:30 this morning getting the cats in their box, and all the other details taken care of for a long day on the empty campsite.

Missoula is a very nice city! There's a ton of stores here, and I spent a happy couple of hours in Costco last night getting restocked for the next couple of weeks. Also went to PetSmart, and Richard got a couple of books at Barnes and Noble. Will hit the 'haircut' store today. The weather is great - hope it stays that way. If all goes well, we'll be back on the road tomorrow morning. Of course, that will mean that we can't attend all of the HempFest being held here this week-end! And the following week-end is the Testicle Festival - that sounds like a real winner :)
