We were awake early for coffee and to get the dat started. We kept thinking of things we might need at the campground, so the truck became maxed out, before Marilyn finally announced that we were ready to go. Then I had to deliver a letter to my work, announcing my actual date of retirement. Finally, we were on the way at 10:15 AM. Heading down the interstate listening to Willie Nelson singing "On The Road Again".
We stopped at McDonalds for a quick bite of lunch, and the drove on to Liberty, MO. The owners manual for the truck said to drive 500 miles before towing. We rolled over 500 miles just before reaching Liberty RV. We saw our new home as we drove in. They were just finishing cleaning it up on the inside. It is awesome!! The entertainment center has an Ipod docking station, which works great. We eventually unloaded the truck and put things into the basement storage of the RV. Tomorrow, we get the new hitch put in the truck, call to get the insurance from Good Sams, talk to the Alternative Resources staff to get the RV registered in South Dakota, do the final walk through, and finally will head out to the campground near Smithville Lake. We will have to become aquainted with the procedure for "dumping" since the campground is electric and water only. I'll write more later, when we get back into contact with the internet. See Ya'
