Left Halifax after a couple of nights and headed northwest towards Caribou where we'd take the ferry to Prince Edward Island (a seperate province). To make time we took the main highway. On the way Leo tells me she's just seen a guy with green hair on a unicycle going flat out in the centre lane on the other side of the highway. I didn't see him and would have been inclined not to believe her if it wasn't so silly it had to be true. Sure enough 30 minutes later, a traffic report came on the radio telling drivers to beware a "green haired lunatic on a unicycle currently between exits 8 & 9, possibly late for an appointment at the buskers festival in Halifax".
The ferry to PEI took just over a hour, once there we drove to the quiet northeast corner and stayed at a campground with a fantastic sea view at Red Point.
