Devils Churn, Siuslaw National Forest
Heavy Surf Resembling Froth in a Churn
This morning I visited a small church in Waldport and then headed back to US 101 to continue my exploration of the Oregon coast. My first stop was at Devils Churn - Siuslaw National Forest, a few miles south of Waldport. Here the surf was the heaviest I have seen so far. It resembles frothy milk, thus its name.
