I had intended to return to Bucharest for just one day before heading off to Moldova and after faffing about in long queues at the train station to buy my onward ticket to Iasi in northern Romania (pronounced "Yash" naturally!) for over an hour and a half I went to my hostel and collasped. It soon became very apparent that I was not very well and that I would not be leaving the next day after all. The hostel staff were really nice however, making me hot drinks and giving me asprin, ect. I blamed: the heat (it had not been below the mid thirties for over a week now), running around, drinking constantly, not sleeping very well, some homemade lemonade stuff I had stupidly had at Bran castle the day before (they had no sprite) and eating slightly dodgy food.
Anyway I took three days out in which I didn't really do much, didn't even drink much (such was my commitment to getting better!!), wandered around Bucharest, had a daily fight with the staff at the train station for various different reasons and did loads of stuff online that I had been meaning to do for ages.
I think I must be starting to look Romanian now as today already I have had three Romanians stop me asking for directions; I'm feeling better and so its definitely time to leave...
