The Thorne's Trip Around This Great Nation travel blog

We arrived in Kent, WA yesterday and easily found our campground. This is one of the nicest KOA's we have seen in a long time. Covered with a canopy of trees, we have shade on the motorhome all day. Not that that is really important since we have not seen the sun yet, but IF the sun shines, we won't be hot. There is some road noise during the day, but it is very quiet at night.

And, they cook up a pancake breakfast each morning. Three huge pancakes for $3.00. Of course, the sausage and drinks are extra. It was very good though. And I got to watch cartoons on the telly too. Now, that took me back a few years.

There is something wrong with our digital camera, the pictures are very dark, so I have switched to my Olympus, but, of course, have to have those developed. I'll do a roll tomorrow so I can get some pictures in here.

We drove to Children's Hospital and had dinner with KellieAnn. It was so great to see her -- it has been since Christmas after all -- and I sure miss her. Roger had corn dogs, I had mushroom beef gravy on mashed spuds, that was very good and KellieAnn had a green veggie wrap. LOL, typical hospital food, but we were there to see KellieAnn not eat gourmet. We will have our quality time with KellieAnn and Vick this weekend, when they are both off from work.

Tomorrow we will go to the Boeing Flight Museum, find Roger some new clothes and do a few projects around the motorhome. Ta Ta.
