the dunes @ Bouctouche

meeting the lobster boats

Britt puts them in the pot

supper is ready

152 km today. We tried to get into the Kouchibougouac National Park but it was full. If you are coming out this way, book in advance-it is worth spending a day here. We travelled on to Bouctouche and stayed at the Bouctouche Bay Chalets and Campground on the shores of the St. Laurence Gulf. We walked the boardwalk on the dunes in the bay, then met the lobster boats coming in for the day (lobster season opened today). We picked up our supper and feasted on lobster.
