Hey wonderful readers... or crazy ones. I mean really, who tracks other peoples lives? especially crazy ones with bad haircuts and smelly feet (an understatment if ever I knew one, hehe). Well incase you are a stalker, We three are having a fantastic time resting our feet for a day in Andorra. I have moved on to my second pair of boots in two weeks since I got such blisters on my toes I had to buy new (cheeper) boots or stay put untill they healed. So re-equiped once more and feeling alot lighter, in my bank account, I'm ready and excited for some more. This life style has really taken a hold on all three of us. It is very peacefull, challenging and empowering. I find I can heal and strenghten my mental, physical and spiritual condition. The life style encourages a developing bond between these three aspects which I find fascinating and pleaseing to watch take effect. Hopefully you can understand what I mean, if not then just keep your current image of me intact: cheeky, smelly, smiling and Alive.
All my love to all of you where ever you read this from.
yours Always Andre (baby pea)
Paul Bell:
And so it came pass that the dusty happy wanderers arrived in the principality
of Andorra. Not the end of their Pyyrennian traverse but a significant point 2\3
of the way to nowhere in particular. They broke thier tough daily ritual of 10
hours walking a day and at least 4 to 5000 feet of ascent and decent per day,
strolled into a hotel and tumbled into comfort.
Their feet were starting to shout back at them and their bodies needed a break
fom the sparse mountain diet{Yes Dave Q and John B we still eat like sparrows in
the hills to save weight and faff} Dazed by the consistent beauty of the
mountains and supported by their growing physical and mental strength
each day seemed to stand alone in its unique mountain way but also blend with
increasing ease into a pleasant memory and the effect of the journey. There was
now a strange concern emerging that there was only a couple of weeks of this leg
to go and a certain desire to make this special time linger. Yes the arrival
will be a celebration of sorts but also a small death. Let us rest a day they
all agreed and how about a drop of that local red brew. Cheers Paul
