Valhalla Park Lookout in Slocan Valley
| Completed the loop through the Slocan Valley and across to Kaslo today. A lot of mining history here although evidence is fast eroding of the previous towns in many areas. We stopped at Ainsworth Hotsprings for a dip and then back to JB's marina for an awesome meal. It was neat that the interpretive program at the campground had a slideshow on the history of the towns in that area during the afternoon which filled us in on even more of the background. |
