The Champagne Backpacker: Michael's Round the World Trip 2005-2007-- The Adventure of a Lifetime travel blog

SATURDAY, JULY 15, 2006. HANGZHOU, CHINA. After an exhausting day of travel from Putuoshan, I'm back in Hangzhou for the third time in a week and half. I plan to be here for a couple of days to rest and plan the remainder of my travels in China. Due to the summer heat and crowds, I think I may shorten my stay in China and head first to Xian, followed by Guilin/Yangshuo, and finally Macau/Hong Kong.

SUNDAY, JULY 16, 2006. HANGZHOU, CHINA. I've bought my ticket for the 24-hour train ride to Xian tomorrow (Y185 hard sleeper). My plan is to visit the famous 2200 year old terracotta warriors and the city of Xian, and then catch another train to Guilin/Yangshuo. By the first week of August, I should be in Macau/Hong Kong to complete my visit to China.
