Barcelona is an absolute FREAK SHOW.

...Nevertheless, it is a fantastic city and I think I left my heart there. It is a huge city with a costal beach feel, and just has a cool vibe. Everyone speaks English and there are beautiful women everywhere. Barcelona has a very Mediterranean feel to it with palm trees combined with old architecture and monuments everywhere. The beach was packed and there were naked women all over. Steve and I played frisbee for hours, it was great.

La Ramblas, the main street through Barcelona is a zoo. During the day there are people dressed in costume, who will stand on a box and will not move. They will have a little hat in front of them so you can drop in money. There are artists on the street and places to get food everywhere. At night you have to beware of the black prostitutes that will chase you down the street~ scary.

On the way to the beach you will run into the black market, where they sell anything from blankets to sun-glasses to designer purses. All venders make their real money of Hashish and Coccaine. On the beach I had a guy approach me and ask if I wanted to buy a blanket. When I said 'no', he wispered to me "hash/coke". I shook my head, these people have no shame.

Streets are absolutely filthy by day but impecably clean by morning. Municipal workers will spray the streets with giant hoses. The water bill must be astronomical.

Alleys are cool because you can wander and stumble upon something great and unexpected.

Our hostel was a nightclub. Not literally, but they played techno music 24/7, it had a bar, free internet, and a bigscreen TV. People would be fighting to get a room there. It was intense.

They have a coffee drink here that I'm addicted to. It's called Cortado. It is a small glass of expresso, coffee and milk, and comes with a small sugar packet.

I had the BEST breakfast of my life the other morning at a Irish Pub. For 7 euros I got 2 huge sausages, 2 slices of ham, 1 sunny-side up egg, hash browns, baked beans and 4 slices of toast. I was in love.

During our time there we shared a room with 5 German girls and 3 Holland guys from Amsterdam. They really like us, unlike the German girls, who all had boyfriends, and invited us to stay with their families when we come to Amsterdam. Awesome! They're gonna give us the grand tour and show us all the cool spots in Amsterdam.

After 4 days in Barca, we decided to pack it up because it was so expensive. We had a great time. We saw awesome sites like the Picasso Museum, Cathedrals, beaches, cool nightclubs, etc. etc. But we decided that we had to move on.

next stop....FRENCH RIVIERA (CANNES, NICE, MONACO, MONTE CARLO) ")
