|Drove the southern coast road - Hwy 7. A pretty drive, but a bouncy road. Stopped at Tor Bay, a sandy beach which is rare in Nova Scotia. This was also where the second underwater cable was laid from England. Canada wanted a cable of their own so as not to be dependent on the first one that had been laid to Newfoundland (which was not a part of Canada at that time). Stayed at Canso RV park. We were right on the harbor, no other RV was there.
