Today was another travel day. From Florida, we passed through Alabama and Mississippi to get to tonight's stay at Hammond, Louisiana. Definitely heading west now, we moved out of Central time zone. Hear that everyone in Tri-Cities? We're now only TWO hours ahead!
Dinner prep is always...er... interesting, to say the least. Counter space is very limited. The stove top is often used to suppliment, especially when a place is needed to set wet dishes after washing. The microwave serves as a bread box when not being used to cook. Consequently, when the micro is needed the bread has to go on the...well...there usually isn't a table, because it is used as a bed. Up and down, up and down, is too much wear and tear, so we usually leave it as a bed unless absolutely necessary to set it up. So, the bread usually goes on the table/bed when the microwave is needed. The bed also serves as a resting/sitting place when everyone is in the trailer. Combine the two above ideas, and it probably isn't hard to imagine what happened to the lovely soft loaf of bread!
