Leaving the Spit and headed for town.

That's where I stayed when I was here 4 summers ago.

It overlooked Beluga Lake.

Down town Homer. This feels good - taking shot thru the windshield.

Is Olive fat, or does she sell fat olives?

Motorhome running out of room? No problem - add on a room.

After two beautiful, sunny days in Homer it got overcast and cold so I got out of town. Found out it was the same all over the Kenai Peninsula. Hi temp today was 50 degrees the last I saw.

Fishing season opens on the Kenai and Russian Rivers Sunday. I plan to be there to watch the action - if I can find a parking space. Then off to Fairbanks I think. Forecase for southern Alaska is cloudy, rain, temps in the 50's for the next 10 days. Fairbanks is mid 70's and sunny.
