Monday:
By golly, we did it! We were out of the campground at 8 am sharp! Good going, Dad!
It was a rough day for me. We were in the truck for 8 ½ hours with two potty breaks and two stops for gas. The road north of Lake Shasta was a nightmare. Good thing Mom made me that "safety seat" so I had something to dig my claws in. It was so bumpy Dad said he hoped the hitch didn't snap off! I was so tired by the time we got to Aunt Karen's I could hardly hold my eyes open, but I did come out to see Aunt Karen when she got home from work. Uncle Danny and Kevin came into the trailer before I got to come out of the truck.
Mom and Dad went into town to see part of Dominic's baseball game. I stayed home and snoozed. Then they brought tacos and stuff home from The Super Taqueria. It sure smelled good!
Tuesday:
Golly - don't cats get invited anywhere??? Mom and Dad went over to Gustine to visit Auntie Beth, but I was left sleeping under Mom's red sweat shirt. They did remember to come feed me; then they were off again. I guess this is to be expected. I can see Jake, Buster and Harley out the bedroom window. Jake is a big Boxer, Harley is a long haired Dachshund and Buster is a golden retrieve on top and maybe basset hound on the bottom. He's so cute! There's a black and white kitty out there, too. Aunt Karen says she's mean, but she looks pretty nice to me. Mom and dad got to enjoy BBQ'd chicken that Danny cooked. There were lots of other goodies too, including Boston Cream Pie. Yum! I would have liked some of that cream.
Wednesday:
Today is the last day in Hollister. Mom and dad have been out visiting people again. Tonight we get to see Adrianna, TJ and Little Cory (hopefully) the grandchildren - only they are pretty grown-up, now. That is if we can get someone on the phone. I haven't seen TJ since last summer and the others I haven't seen on a long, long time. Hope Dad gets some good pictures so I can put them up in my room. I got to end this so Dad can get our website updated. See you soon! We're off to Calico Ghost Town tomorrow early (we hope).
