Up nice and early and onwards to Loch Ness.
On the way stopped at the ruins of Castle Urquhart. What can I say, they're old.
Was just impressed with the sheer size of Loch Ness on the way in. It is a very very large body of water. I have always been interested in the moster stories from a kid, so was excited, and I don't get excited often.
Had to do the mostl reputable of the 2 tourist attractions about the beast. Unfortunately for me I have come out a disbeliever now. Damn science!!.
I can't believe how late in the 80's it was though that serious studies were done trying to prove or disprove it. Apparently there isn't enough food for anything bigger than a reasonable size fish in the lake. Sorry to let anyone down that thought there was something.
Made our way the to the Isle of Skye. Stopped short of going over the bridge into it as it was getting late. Found another nice B&B with an older lady called Margaret that ran it. A bit of a nut bag but ok.
Another wander down to one of the 2 possible places to eat for a bite. Not much else to do after that than to watch a bit of Big Brother UK style, shit's over our version.
