View from a cafe in Colonia

The SeaCat took us from the port in Buenos Aires to Colonia in Uruguay in less than an hour. We checked into the YHA hostel in the small town and had lunch in the adjacent cafe. We were amazed when we saw the locals eating salad for lunch, and the cafe was a no smoking zone!! Maybe Uruguay isn't part of Argentina because of these anomalies?

After a siesta we tackled the cobbled streets of Colonia on the free bikes at the hostel - remembering to keep on the correct side of the road!

We rode through the beautiful cobbled streets of the old part of town along the harbour, stopping for a coffee along the way.
