Well tonight is our last night in Samui. Boohoo. We fly to Bangkok tomorrow morning and will spend two days there before making the dreaded long flight back to Cow Town.

We have experienced some pretty mean rain/thunder storms over the last few days. Hasn't really stopped us though. We rented a scooter for the last couple of days for 200bht per day - that equals $6.25 CAN. What a deal. We toured up in the mountains and had lunch at a mountain restaurant. Tom wanted to go off roading with the scooter. We hiked into a few waterfalls, one of which was the local swimming hole for some of the local boys. They love having their picture taken.....but for 20bht or more.

We found a nice little quiet beach area about 20 minutes south of Chewang beach. Cheaper food, beer and not so touristy. We both had a pedicure while sitting in our beach chairs. Yes..... Tom had a pedicure.

Today we took a speed boat day trip to Anthong National Marine Park. The kayaking was nice, unfortunately the rains came following that. It was a nice day all in all. Now we are off for our last supper in Samui, then back to the room to pack.

Will send a final note from the big city of Bangkok.

See you all soon!
