|Arrived in Orsorno at around 8pm and checked in a residential. We took a taxi not knowing where the residential was and it turned out to be about 400 yards away from the bus terminal - Duh!
After 5 minutes in the town we realised it's not a place you stay long so we headed back to the terminal and booked our tickets for a border crossing into Bariloche leaving the next morning - 10am.
A Sunday night in South America is not the best time to try and find somewhere to eat and definitely not in this town. In the end we stumbled into a ropey burger joint at 9pm and ate the most anaemic burgers you have ever seen! The shutters outside went down just as we walked in and it was obvious that they were in a rush to get us fed and then out. If dodgy bellies reared their heads in the next couple of days we knew what was to blame!
Back to the Residential (someone's house with tourist rooms upstairs - a bit like our B&B's in England) quick shower and to bed ready to cross into Argentina the next day.
