Larry and Jan - Our Travel Adventures travel blog

We left Henryetta, OK this morning and the weather was great. The RV park we stayed at was right off of the interstate and we heard the traffic when the storm wasn't waking us up. The motor home rocked and rolled in the wind during the storm.

From Oklahoma we went through northern Texas and took US 87 into New Mexico. We spent the night in Clayton, NM at a KOA campground.

Berke, one of our dogs, had surgery to remove fatty tumors before we left Kissimmee. Berke tore open his chest incision and we took him by a vet before we left. The vet said the incision would heal on its own without any additional stitches.

Clayton was a nice little town. We bought an elk tenderloin to have for dinner. It was farm raised in PA. I'll let you know how it was when we eat it.
