Chilling out after a long run in Mt Manganui

Cafe Culture in Mt Manganui

Rotarua is a smelly geothermal melting pot. And for that it is interesting to visit but not to stay. We enjoyed a Maori performance there and a tour around a village built around the geysers. Tempertaure of the water is around 110 deg C. Interesting to see how food was cooked in the geysers - corn on the cob, 4 mins.

From there we dove slightly north to Mt Maunganui. We really liked it here. With an awesome beach and great café society it reminded us a lot of Camps Bay in Cape Town. The trend of fitness continued with great runs around the base of the mount
