A typical courtyard in Corboda
The replica waterwheel
Initially this town was going to be a pit stop on to the east coast of Spain but we got here late in the day and decided to stay for two nights and do some exploring.
We had a day to explore the city (although we slept in till 11) and saw the remanants of a water wheel used to generate power (i assume) long ago. We also got a chance to see lots of the Mezquita which was built 1300 years ago as a Mosque after the Muslims invaded in 711, it was then used as a catherdral when the Muslims left.
We tried for about two hours to find a bullfighting museum which didn't want to be found and eventually gave up. After a long walk along the river and a pointless search for a laundromat (its been about 15 days since we've washed clothes) we had a nice dinner and crashed, a ten hour bus journey awaited us the next day.
