| Today we got a taxi to another part of the island where we had the beach to ourselves! Great weather! Amanda got some colour! Yay! First time she's lied on a sandy beach in 2 years! The whole town was preparing for the summer tourist season. All cafe's, restaurants, dogem cars, and other business' were building and painting. Back to Thasos town, we had ice-cream and a coffee. By this time, shops were opening and we had a bit of a shop. Dinner we went back to our favourite cafe where the greek owner had been to Brisbane back in the 70's. Food was good as usual and they surprised us with a special treat of Greek yoghurt and some sort of syrup as dessert. mmmm Free! |
