The weather here has been great - sunny warm days and cool (to cold) nights. We are on a nice, shady site (

). We enjoy relaxing in our new LaFuma chairs, reading and enjoying the wonderful rural area (

).

The Withlacoochie Hiking Trail is a 10 minute drive from here. The drive to the Trail goes through some lovely horse country, and the Trail itself parallels the river, with occasional access points to the river. I have been taking Nizhoni for an hour long walk along the trail daily (works off some of that young dog energy!) We almost stepped on a big, black snake a few days ago - may have been an Indigo snake, but I didn't get a close enough look (too busy leaping out of the way). Have also seen a good sized tortoise the last few mornings. Other days we've seen deer. Nizhoni particularly likes the squirrels. The Sandhill Crane family was around most days - fun to watch!

We will be moving down to Kissimmee (Tropical Palms RV Resort) this week-end for 4 days. Plan to meet up with grandson Jack and see NASA, as well as a few other things in the area. Will come back to Bushnell for another couple of weeks, and then back down to Orlando for a week at Disney with the Mendes family. After that, we'll join the northern migration of Snowbirds.
