Morning Cruise at Land's End

Caravan Comrads Enjoying the Cruise

The journey continues. Off to Cabo and the southern most point in the Baja.

The trip was relatively sane. At times there were even four lane highways. The campground was on a bluff overlooking the Sea of Cortez and the harbor in downtown. This was a welcome six night stay.

The highlight of the stay was when our sons Tony and Gary arrived to join the fun. They stayed at an all inclusive resort north of Cabo in San Jose de Cabo. The boys enjoyed a day of deep sea fishing and many libations in the sunshine. The sea was a little too deep as only one fish succumbed to their prowess.

Did all of the tourist "stuff" which included Hard Rock Cafe, a morning cruise with lunch while spotting whales, porpoises and sea lions, shopping, Cabo Wabo and did we mention the libations?

We enjoyed a lobster tail dinner for Valentine's Day while overlooking the sea with a full moon glowing. After this stay it finally dawned on us that we have to do these damn mountains in reverse. Should we take the ferry to the mainland? After a few tequillas we came to the conclusion that if we made it one way we could make it the other. No sissies in this group (maybe stupid but no sissies).

Stay tuned, next stop La Paz.
