Nick and I stayed in Fiji for about 1 month en route to Australia. We spent about 2 weeks at the Nananu Lodge on the island of Nananu-I-Ra and then circled around the mainland. We met up with a Fijian guy named Pisa and ended up staying with him and his buddy's on the beach of the Coral Coast at their house. They threw a huge birthday party for me with a lovo (underground traditional oven) and of course a kava (traditional drink made from ground up yaquona root mixed with water) session that lasted into the wee hours of the morning.
