We spent the day at the beach again in Tortola, the largest of the British Virgin Islands. To get to the beach, we had to take a taxi van to the other side of the mountain. Now, we didn't go around or through the mountain, we went over it. No side rails on the road(which they are still driving on the left side). It was a great view at the top. It was like looking into paradise on the way down. No iguanas here. In fact, they didn't have any animals other than cats or dogs and mongoose. The mongoose ate all the other animals. No mice, or rats, or snakes, etc. etc.
When we returned to the boat, the guy in front of us had a 12 pack of Corona. After watching him bring it right on the boat, and didn't have it confiscated, Jason & I dropped the girls off in the rooms, and headed back out to the local grocery store. It did take us a little while to find it, but 24 Coors Light was only $12.00, so it was worth it. It costed a little more if you wanted the cold cases from the big fridge(which I didn't understand), but we had mini fridges in our rooms anyways. Our room steward told us to just empty the fridge into the cupboard, and he wouldn't charge us for the mini bar contents.
Unknowingly, this would be the last time we got off the boat.
