We met up with a couple of my parents friends who spend their winter in Antigua. They brought us to their villa by the beach where we spent the day. Besides the chickens and goats in the streets, or the "buses" which were just regular vans jam packed with people driving on the left side of the road through streets with potholes the size of a car, it was a very nice island...although a very expensive one. A loaf of bread is $12.00. A box of cereal is $29.00. The gas was $12.00/gallon. Needless to say, we just spent our day lounging in the sun for free. Jason ended up recognizing someone from the car auction in Ottawa that was floating around in the water with him. It's a small world after all.
