After the party of the night before we got up in time to spend New Years Day on the beach with what seemed like everyone else in Peru. By the time we left at 4pm it was literally shoulder to shoulder. Hungry and sick of eating sand from the passing hoards we headed to the main strip for some beers and cebiche. None was to be found however as everyone else in Trujillo had got there first.
Really nice way to see in 2006. Can't give high enough praise to Huanchaco and the very friendly people up here in the North who can't get over my paleness and Danny's tan which has resulted in him being mistaken for a Peruvian on more than one occasion!
