Trekkin' to Suva

Gonna keep this short cuz internet is expensive... that means no pictures either. (Sorry)

Took the Feejee Experience bus from Mango Bay to Suva. This included a GREAT trek for about 3 hours in between. It was wonderful because it was really out into nature, but at the same time not too hard. About 1/2 the trek was actually in a creek that ran 8 - 10 inches deep. We even saw a wild parrot overhead.

Arriving in Suva, we went out for dinner with friends from our trip and then retired early (because I'm old)!

The next day we woke and headed into Suva to check the post office.... We were expecting some gifts that mom had sent in the mail... However we kept calling and they kept telling me that there was no package. When we arrive in person it took about 4 seconds to locate! I now understand that their little trick is to tell you (over the phone) that it's not there and then when you don't come in... they get to keep it.

So... That said.... WE GOT CHRISTMAS PRESENTS!!!! We were the happiest kids you've ever seen! I grinned all day. It was pretty tough not to peek but it was nice that we only had to wait 1 day.
