| In a country where there are a million dog bites a year, one could easily draw the conclusion that the majority happen here in Ayutthaya. The stray dogs seem to outnumber the people and protect every street, corner and alley... making it a very difficult prospect to get around. Whether the Lonely Planet author had a thai bride tucked away here is anyone's guess, but it certainly hasn't proved to be the 'not to be missed wonderfully restored ruins next to a modern city'! |
