3. Great Golfing - The only reason I really wanted to come to St. Andrews was to check out all the golf stuff and take a peek at the Old Course. It was beautiful. Of course, it had to be pouring rain when I came, but I still LOVED St. Andrews... my favorite small town so far. Basically, the town consists of golf courses, the university and the shops and hotels to support students and golfers. It's situated right on the coast and is lovely. I was allowed to walk the course, but since I wouldn't have had anyone to take pictures and since it was raining, I'll have to walk it later. Dad - you're going to LOVE it... you HAVE to come here just to see this. It's a golfer's dream world!

2. Coastline, Hills, Open Spaces and Cities - All of this is right here in Scotland within very close distances. When I came into St. Andrews, it looked like a farming community. Then, the ocean just kind of emerges out of the blue. There are cliffs and rolling hills and open space... yet travel just a little bit and you reach a thriving city. It might be the best place ever.

1. I saw more cute guys in one hour than I have my entire time in England - Girls, you need to come to this place. I met not only cute guys but really nice ones, too! Did I mention the St. Andrews air force base is right here... yeah, I talked to a couple members of the Royal Air Force! I Heart Scotland!

So, those are the reasons why I really love Scotland. Seriously, I'm not sure where I'm living in July and August, but now I'm pretty confident that (unless I get a job in London) that I'll move to Edinburgh for a couple months. It was just my kind of town.

Real quick... in other news... I had my first breakdown over lack of American goods this week. All because I ran out of toothpaste, and you won't believe it BUT... they don't have CREST!?! What is going on? I thought about not brushing my teeth until I get home... but decided to breakdown and buy a tube of Coalgate (yuck). It has made my mouth numb all week and I hate it. You think I'm kidding, but seriously, I was disturbed.

Finally, I turn in two essays this week, have a Christmas party with my friends here on Thursday, take a quick jaunt to York on Friday, and then come home Saturday! Yipee! Can't wait to see you all! XOXO
