What a tomb!
| Only an hour away by train from Prague, we came here for one reason only...to see the infamous bone church, AKA Kostnice. After the death of so many people from the black plague, and also due to the ingenuity of an architect, the church (where some of the plague victims were housed during the illness) was decorated with their skeletal remains. There's even a chandeleir here made of every bone in the human body! Absolutely creepy but interesting. Look at the pictures and judge for yourself what you think! |
