Tracey's Trek To Timbuktu

Welcome to my trip journal! I'm looking forward to an awesome trip to Mali and hope that you will come along with me by reading my experiences when you have the time. I will try to update it whenever I can find an internet cafe (not likely in the remote parts over there). You can check out my itinerary and get an idea as to where I'll be on specific days.
I'll try to make my entries interesting and not bore you!

Lastly, because I'm going to a part of the world that can be in turmoil on any day, because of the style of travel I've elected (camping out in the wild), and because I'm flying on 8 different planes---anything could happen at any time. Without being overly pessimistic, I just want to say thank you for your friendship and allowing me to love you.
