Welcome to s/v Soy Libre's Travel Site

We have been traveling on a 38 foot sailboat for over three years and are currently cruising the Pacific side of Central America and more recently, South America. Hurricane season runs from about May through October and we have spent the hurricane seasons in either Central America or below the equator in Ecuador, South America. These so called hurricane holes, allow us to safely leave the boat for inland travel and shake out our sea legs. As the 2006 sason comes to a close, we wrap up the year with having spent over a month in Peru and exploring the mountains and volcanoes in the Andes of Ecuador. Come November, we will begin our 10 day sail back to Panama, then Costa Rica and on homeward to California. We need to go back to work so we can go ¨cruising¨ again. Please check back for updates as we continue to travel and sail on s/v Soy Libre. For our current Chart and Satalite location please go to:
