South Pole Expedition

Ian travel blog
In late November 2014 I will attempt what few people have ever done before - to ski from the coast of Antarctica to the South Pole. 50 days, 9,000 feet of ascent while hauling sleds weighing over 100 lbs.

20 times more people have climbed Mount Everest than have ever completed this trek and should I be successful, I will be the oldest Canadian to do so. To view the planned route, click here - ROUTE
