THE WESTON'S RV AMERICA!!!!

"Yes, I know the price of diesel!"Welcome family and friends to Marty and Diane's trip journal! Today starts the begining of an adventure. Over ten years ago, we bought our first RV and fell in love with traveling America. We decided to "full-time" RV after our retirement from LAPD. Marty retired as a Sergeant II in December 2007. Diane retired as a Detective II in July 2008. We are ready to begin our adventure and we welcome all of you to follow along with us! We sold our home in Fullerton, CA and disposed of everything that would not fit into our 32' 2006 Itasca Meridian diesel pusher. We bought a 2008 Jeep Rubicon to tow behind the motorhome. We obtained an address in Madison, South Dakota for our mail forwarding, driver's licenses, license plates, insurances and taxes. We do not own any property in South Dakota and we (at this time) do not plan to live in South Dakota - but South Dakota is a very tax friendly and RV "full-time" friendly state so we chose it as our "place of residence."  Our plan is to travel for a couple years. We want to drive the Alaskan Highway, the Florida Keys and the New England coast. We want to tour as many National Parks, battlefields, museums and historical locations as possible. We plan to keep traveling until we get tired of traveling or tired of each other....whichever comes first! And then, as part of our travels, we hope to find that perfect place to build or buy our next home. Wherever that may be. So, please join us in our travels and read about our adventures.
